Fishing Report 5/29/25

Written on: May 29th, 2025 in Fishing Report

Welcome to another great season at IRM.  Fishing is ramping up if we could just get this weather to calm down.

There have been Inshore reports of Flounder, Sea Bass, Rockfish and a few Bluefish here and there.

It has been very hard for out boats to get Offshore due to the wind this year.  The Gessler family was able to get out and land 1 Yellowfin Tuna and 1 Mahi over the weekend.  And Chris Ragni on a private boat landed 10 Yellowfins the following day.

ALERT!  NEW PENDING STATE RECORD

This 56.2lb and 42.5 inch long Golden Tile was brought in by the boys on Blue Betty II.
Logan Smith caught this monster when fishing with friends Cody Layfield and Capt. Austin Decker out at the Poor Man’s deep dropping squid.
Congratulations!

Don’t forget to get your kids/anglers ages 3-18 signed up for the 10th Annual Kids Catch-All June 20-22.  We have an entire weekend of great food, music, games, and an awesome 10th Anniversary awards ceremony.

Better days ahead till then, Tight Lines & Great times!!
